"A Trip to the Boar" is an English country dance in 3/2 time and E minor.<br> It does not appear in Playford's Dancing Master series but was printed by John Young<br> who published the last six editions of The Dancing Master. He printed this tune in<br> The Second Volume of The Dancing Master in 1713. To confuse things a bit, Young's<br> Second Edition and the subsequent Third Edition were separate from editions 13 - 18<br> of the original Dancing Master series.<br> It was printed in Williamson's English, Welsh, Scottish and Irish Fiddle Tunes<br> (1976).<br> It was recorded by Robin Williamson on Winter's Turning.<br>
