Also known as "Child Grove".<br> The tune, still popular at country and contra-dances, dates to 1701<br> when it appeared in the 11th edition of Henry Playford's English Dancing Master.<br> Another early printing was by Walsh in the Compleat Country Dancing Master<br> (editions of 1718 and 1747).<br> It was also printed in Sharp's Country Dance Tunes (1909) and Karpeles's<br> 100 English Folk Dance Airs (1951).<br> It was recorded by Fennig's All Stars on The Hammered Dulcimer.<br>
