"The Old Frog Dance", also known as "The Frog Hop", "Swaggering Boney" and "Travel<br> by Steam" is an English morris dance tune in 6/8 time and D Major.<br> The parts are played AA'BBCA'. It was collected in the village of Oddington,<br> Gloucestershire, England.<br> The "Old Frog" was presumably Napoleon Bonaparte. The tune and dance were<br> collected by Clive Carey in 1912 and 1913 from a laboring man named<br> Charles Taylor who claimed the Oddington team had last danced in 1888, but that<br> he could still dance the night through. <br> It was printed in Bacon's The Morris Ring (1974).<br>
