"The Old Frog Dance", also known as "The Frog Hop", "Swaggering Boney" and "Travel by Steam" is an English morris dance tune in 6/8 time and D Major.
The parts are played AA'BBCA'. It was collected in the village of Oddington, Gloucestershire, England.
The "Old Frog" was presumably Napoleon Bonaparte. The tune and dance were collected by Clive Carey in 1912 and 1913 from a laboring man named Charles Taylor who claimed the Oddington team had last danced in 1888, but that he could still dance the night through.
It was printed in Bacon's The Morris Ring (1974).
