"Willie's Waltz" was written by John McCutcheon for the birth of a friend's son. I made a transcription from John McCutcheon's recording on his Winter Solstice (1986) album some time ago. I put the transcription in my copy of Cole's One Thousand Fiddle Tunes and forgot about it for a number of years. When I found it again, I went back to the recording and made corrections. I also added the chords.
