"Someday Soon" is a song composed by Canadian singer/songwriter Ian Tyson. He recorded the song with his wife, Sylvia, as the duo Ian & Sylvia in 1964. Although this version was not released as a single, the song has been recorded by Ian and Sylvia on Northern Journey (1964), the Kingston Trio on The Kingston Trio (Nick-Bob-John) (1965), Judy Collins on Who Knows Where the Time Goes (1969) and others. I think I learned it from the Judy Collins recording.
