I learned this by hearing Charlie Maguire sing it on The Prairie Home Companion radio show. It was a "museum song" commissioned by Ironworld in Chisholm, Minnesota about transportation on the Iron Range. As far as I can determine, this song was never recorded and I can't find it on Charlie Maguire's website.
