"Four Strong Winds" is a song written by Ian Tyson in the early 1960s and recorded by his Canadian folk duo Ian and Sylvia. This is the first song I learned from Ian and Sylvia. The melody feels like it starts out in G major but by the end it feels like D mixolydian.
