"Who's the Fool Now" is an English song.
It was printed in Queen Elizabeth's Virginal Book and Chappell's Popular Music of the Olden Time (1859) (where I learned it). Thomas Orwin was licensed to print it in 1588. It is one of the Freemen's songs in Deuteromelia (1609).
It was recorded by Roberts and Barrand on Spencer the Rover and Hart and Prior on Old England.
We used to sing this for Walt Martin in some of our drinking/singing nights at Sunhearth.
