"Red Rocking Chair" is also known as "Honey Babe Blues", "Little Red Rocking Chair", “Red Apple Juice" or "Sugar Babe”. A southern white blues from a large and musically varied song/tune family in the Appalachians. A version was recorded by Dock Boggs ("Sugar Babe"). It is included in the Anthology of American Folk Music. It was also recorded byBascom Lamar Lunsford, Charlie Monroe, The New Lost City Ramblers and Bob Carlin among others.
