It was recorded by Al Hopkins and His Buckle Busters, The New Lost City Ramblers and Dan Gellert & Brad Leftwich.
It has been printed in Vance Randolph's collection of traditional Ozark Mountain fiddle tunes (1954), The New Lost City Ramblers Songbook, Anne and Frank Warner's Traditional American Folk Songs and Alan Lomax's Folk Songs of North America.
