"I Must and I Will Get Married" is an English and American song. It is related to "Whistle, Daughter, Whistle", and another similar song called "The Fit's Come on Me Now" (a song and not the "Playford dance tune"). Sharp collected one version in Virginia in 1918. It was printed in Sharp's English Folk Songs from the Southern Appalachians (1932).
