"The Quaker's Grace", also known as "The Resolution" is an English country dance tune in<br> cut time and D Major. The parts are played AAB.<br> The melody and dance instructions were first published as "The Resolution", the primary<br> title, in Playford's Dancing Master, 13th edition (1706). It was<br> retained (along with its alternate title "The Quaker's Grace") in the Dancing Master<br> editions through the end of the series with the 18th edition of 1728. It was also<br> published in John Walsh's Compleat Country Dancing Master, editions of 1718 and 1731.<br> It was printed in Howe's Musician’s Omnibus Nos. 6 & 7 (1880-1882) and<br> Barlow's The Complete Country Dance Tunes from Playford's Dancing Master (1986).<br>
