"Tideswell Morris Processional" is an English Morris Dance tune in cut time and<br> F Major. The parts are played AB.<br> Tideswell is a village of Buxton in Derbyshire between Manchester and Sheffield.<br> English folk song and folk-dance collector Cecil Sharp had the tune from<br> Mr. R.F.B. Hodgkinson (b. 1876), a Nottinghamshire antiquarian, who sent it<br> along with the morris tune for Taddington village, near Tideswell.<br> Later, in 1910, Sharp visited the morris events in the towns and re-collected<br> the tunes.<br> It was printed in Karpeles & Schofield's A Selection of 100 English Folk Dance<br> Airs (1951),<br> Raven's English Country Dance Tunes (1984) and<br> Sharp's Morris Book 1, 2nd ed.
