"The Ladies Pleasure", also known as "Ladies of Pleasure" is an English Morris dance tune in 6/8 time<br> with some irregular measures (called the 'Slows'). It is in F Major in Bacon, Karpeles & Raven and in<br> G Major in Barnes and Mallinson. The parts are played ABC in Raven, AABC in Barnes, ABCBCB in Bacon,<br> Mallinson & Karpeles. It was published before 1730. It was collected from the village of Bledington,<br> Gloucestershire in England's Cotswolds near the Oxfordshire-Gloucestershire border. <br> It was printed in Bacon's The Morris Ring (1974), Barnes's English Country Dance Tunes, vol. 2 (2005),<br> Karpeles & Schofield's A Selection of 100 English Folk Dance Airs (1951), Mallinson's <br> Mally's Cotswold Morris Book (1988) and Raven's English Country Dance Tunes (1984).<br>
